Die Cutting Materials

Accu-Shape Die Cutting can die cut any non-metallic material that is non-hazardous. Unlike other die cutters, Accu-Shape Die Cutting readily accepts consigned material from vendors and customers.

CARDBOARD/FIBERBOARD

Cardboard/Fiberboard is one of the most common materials processed with die cutting. Cardboard is a generic term for a heavy-duty paper of various strengths, ranging from a simple arrangement of a single layer sheet of paper to complex configurations featuring multiple corrugated and un-corrugated layers.

ADHESIVE BACKED MATERIALS

To create an Adhesive Backed Material such as labels, tapes, decals, etc..., a coating of adhesive is applied to the backing of a material. In the case of rolled Adhesive Backed Material, such as Flocked Tape.This is done to keep the material from sticking together prior to using.

RUBBER

NON-WOVENS

Non-Wovens are material-like fabrics. Used to make products such as, surgical gowns, gloves, automotive filtration, etc.. A good examples of a Non-Woven material is felt. They can lack sufficient strength without use of a reinforced or densified backing.

PLASTIC

Plastic is a very useful material when die cut. This allows us to produce items such as: plastic stiffeners, plastic holddowns and plastic letters. Plastic comes in many different varieties and is found in almost any product that you come across. CLOTH / TEXTILES

Textiles consist of a network of artificial or natural fibers. Typically produced by crocheting, knotting, weaving, etc... Fabric and Cloth are commonly used when tailoring and dressmaking. Fabric and Cloth are both synonymous with textile assembly.

FABRICS

Accu-shape Die Cutting utilizes die cutting to cut all types of fabrics. The most common item we cut with Fabric is the felted fabrics. Fabric comes in many different forms and is used for many different applications.

FOAM

Foam is among the best material to die cut as it has many applications. Foam seals are the most common item cut from foam and benefits from the accuracy of die cutting.
